Mystery behind the July 22 Solar Eclispe -unraveled

When he said he was hungry and was gonna eat up the sun, I never took it seriously. His stomach maybe be as large as his heart (or even larger, unlike the Alex of Madagascar I), but to swallow the Sun…Stop kidding!!! That kinda stuff may have happened during the ‘Hanuman Times’. But in this 21st century…who would believe such a thing?! :O

I wouldn’t have believed either, had I not been a hapless witness to the dire sight! What you are about to see is a true and unabridged version of the original video. Parental discretion strictly advised :P

I was shit scared! I waited and waited for some Indiras to come with a thunderbolt and do the magic stuff. Seconds ticked by…no one seemed to turn up, I decided to take things into my own little hands. I made a pact with him –said that it was a New Moon Day and hence I’d give him the cooler and whiter and yummier Moon, if he gave the Sun back. And guess what??? He fell for it and spat the sun back.(I know, Thanks to me the day is saved...once again ;) )

Spitting it out
Little did he know that New Moon Day = No Moon Day. Gotcha! naanananana :P

Ignorance is Bliss!
Scientists, astronomers and Dexters tried to come up with plausible explanations for the sudden blackout of one half of the earth. Unable to come up with any logical explanations, they dismissed it as a solar eclipse with a longer duration. They even wrote in Wiki...

Solar eclipse of July 22, 2009-From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The solar eclipse of 22 July 2009 was the longest total
solar eclipse during the 21st century, not to be surpassed until June 2132.[1] It lasted a maximum of 6 minutes and 39 seconds off the coast of Southeast Asia,[2] causing tourist interest in eastern China, Japan, India and Nepal.[2][3][4] This was the second in the series of three eclipses in a one-month period, with two minor penumbral lunar eclipses, first on July 7 and last on August 6. The exceptional duration was a result of the Moon being near perigee, with the apparent diameter of the Moon 8% larger than the Sun (magnitude 1.080) and the Earth being near aphelion[18] where the Sun appeared slightly smaller.

The truth will remain ‘hidden’ forever. Only my blog readers will ever know what happened in reality, on July 22. The above mentioned morons will never believe my story. :I

Watch out! H(an)umans capable of swallowing the Sun still exists.
